Checked out all the launch sites in the area and found that the Torrance launch site would be the best. Take Highway 169 W. of Gravenhurst to Torrance Road and then onto Queen’s Walk Road. The launch site is right there and there is plenty of parking within a short walk from the landing.
Hopefully we’ll all be launched by 10 am and will head around Bala Bay, Bala Park Island and Acton Island area. We will have lunch at Windsor Park in Bala. We will probably be about two hours in the morning and an hour in the afternoon and then back to the landing. Please make sure everyone brings a picnic lunch as we have no host and we’ll be at a public park.
